| i think that i'm done with xanga...so here is my goodbye speech,
i've had a great summer...one that has changed me forever
i went to mexico and saw how a different culture lives...it was awesome
i realized that there is still something left for me in my youth group
i went to church camp and realized that sometimes life wants to make you feel like crap so you have to rise above it and learn to beat life even if you're sad
i watched two full seasons of one tree hill
spent a whole week watching scary movies and looking for scary places wih two of my best friends
went to florida and got all dressed up to party at E's wedding
hung out with maddie trav and brandy at backyard burger
got free ice cream at marble slab and hung out with jess at barnes and noble
played a lot of ultimate freakin frisbee
played a lot of freakin soccer...oh wait i mean ran a lot
went to a sam rosalina concert...amazing
"took a shower" at soccer camp
cried...a lot
sang a duet with erin at camp
wrote two songs
basically hung out a lot
so summer has been awesome and it sucks that school is back in, but what can you do.
so my final messgae to the xanga world is to give all of yourself to the things that are important to you...go with the flow, but don't be too laid back. stand your ground, but don't be afraid to sit on your ground either. don't ask too many questions because you might hold yourself back, but ask some questions. try new things even if they're scary because they'll probably be worth it one day. and trust God to do what's best for you...max lucado says it best...
"your silent prayers uttered on tearstained pillows were heard before they were said. your deepest questions were answered before they were asked. He sees you... He hears you... He knows you..."
so trust him...even if it feels like it's too paniful or hard to sometimes because he will always take care of you...if you let him.
